Malmö Gallerinatt is an annual event held last Saturday in September every year, when many of Malmö’s galleries and art institutions have a common evening opening between18-24.
This year all of Mitt Möllan was turned into an eye-candy spectacle!
All of Mitt Möllan had about 4000-5000 visitors, and we counted over 1200 people at Hybriden.
It’s great to have people find CBK, HYBRIDEN and TUSEN SERIER so that we get a chance to show off all our great comic books, artworks, artists and meet new people!
Tropicana Dreams 2017
Simultaneously a new comic-festival emerged from sunny Mallorca with the fitting name “Tropicana Dreams.” Of course some of us participated!
Crew from both CBK and TUSEN SERIER flew to Mallorca to enjoy the sun and the newness. Meeting new people and stocking up on prints to sell @ HYBRIDEN.
We’re all looking forward to next years edition of both happenings!
This time we received 68 comic submissions for CBA vol 32: Blue Beginnings. We have some hard work ahead of us today, as the whole crew is meeting up for a selection-feast. Food and comics. It doesn’t get any better than that, eh?

The book mixes fiction and autobiographic elements. The end result is a fictive story of a girl who has lost her face in a strange city. While she is looking for herself, the cat is looking for the scary yet intriguing dark character who the dog is calling Nightmare. But can you trust a dog who is always lying?
Find me in this city was first published 2009 in Finnish by Asema Kustannus. It was Mari Ahokoivu’s first graphic novel, although not her first published comic book. Other publications by Mari Ahokoivu includes ”Sarjakuvantekijän opas” (BTJ kustannus 2007), Lola Olifante (Éditions Cambourakis 2014-2015) and Sanni och Jonas (Rabén & Sjörgen 2015).
Mari Ahokoivu (b.1984) is a Finnish comic artist and illustrator who draws comics for adults and for kids and has been published in Finland as well as abroad. She has studied comics in Finland, France and Sweden and now sometimes teaches comics herself. Ahokoivu enjoys watching movies and playing roller derby. At the moment she lives in northern Finland.
The Stockholm International Comics festival 2015 is over and done, already. Bittersweet because this was the best SIS festival in a long time. High on festival-endorphines we’re back and gearing up for Allan Haverholm’s exhibition and releaseparty for When the last story is told on May 22.
We also proudly and gladly announce that a part of C’est Bon Kultur, Steve Nyberg, won The Swedish Comics Association’s fanzine award this year with his fanzine “Maja-Stina”!
